We decided to take her to Luray Caverns. Ed had not been to any of the caverns in Virginia and wanted to visit. I, on the other hand, am from Virginia and have been to several caverns many times during my youth (Yes, I said “youth”. I can’t believe that I just used the term. Does that mean I’m getting old? At least no one has called me an “old” woman. Once, Ed had a soldier call him “old man” – haha!). Okay… back to the story….
Ed enjoyed looking at all of the rock formations. They are always cool to look at. Tate and Mutti had a great time as well.

Getting ready to "fall" into the water -- After he "falls" into the water, I teach him to turn around and swim towards the wall instead of to me.
1-2-3 Jump!
Not only does Tate have to work-out every Wednesday, I also go to Mommy Bootcamp every Monday and Friday. It’s great! I have actually found a work-out program that allows me to take my baby with me. And to top it all off, Tate is usually quite agreeable during the hour long work-out. I think that he likes to go so that he can watch the other babies and mommies. I try to sit with him at the end of the work-out and have him observe the other babies who are crawling and walking. And yes, Tate is getting around, but he doesn’t crawl like a typical baby. He still does his “plank” crawling. He’s pretty quick and can get into trouble easily. So, I’m unsure whether he’ll really want to learn how to crawl like a typical baby. I guess we’ll see!
Here are some more pics from Mutti’s visit.

I'm a huge fan of swimming lessons starting at infancy. Liv has been in lessons almost non-stop, since she was 6-months-old. Lila has been in swimming lessons once. But, they don't have them here for infants during the week. The wknds, we try to get around Portugal. So, I'll pick them back up w/her in the Fall.
I love the pictures of him laughing. He's so cute. Getting so big. He looks like his daddy!
Glad to see you're finding time to work out. I'm able to hit the gym twice a week. I love it. I'd like to go more, but, I just don't have a babysitter and Matt's working more than 12-hrs/day and is often on TDY. I'm hoping to add one more day in on the wknds - but, who knows! But, I'm still getting in good shape and dropped a lot of weight. So, I guess a little bit can go a long way, thankfully!
