Another baby??? She must be crazy!

On August 7, 2012, William Kurt Matthidess was born at 9:16PM.  He was 20 inches long and 7 pounds 14 ounces.

He was pretty angry during his first bath.

All better now.

Tate checking out his little brother.  He seemed to be okay with it in the picture, but he did inform us that the baby had to stay at the hospital and not come home with us.

Here's my mom and Colt checking out the baby.

Colt loves to kiss the baby.  It's so cute!

The three boys together!

Puerto Rico -- March 2012

Yes, I am doing a quick little post on our trip to Puerto Rico, which we took six months ago.  I figure better late than never, right?

Not only did we go to San Juan, we also stayed on the island of Vieques.  At first, we tried to take the ferry, but that was pretty much impossible.  So...we decided to take a local flight.

Here is Tate sitting in our small plane  -- The boys have definitely had some special experiences riding in airplanes, small planes, a float plane, and trains.

Here is our plane once we landed.

A cute picture of the boys in our hotel room in Vieques.

Views from around the island.

An old lighthouse in Vieques.

An exhausted Colt (this was only our second day on vacation!).

There were wild horses everywhere on the island.

Tate looking at the boats.

An old sugar mill on Vieques.

At the beach -- Tate loved it!

Daddy and Tate in the water.

Colt doing his thing -- he hated being the water.  So...playing on the beach was the closest that he wanted to get to the water.

Tate loved pulling the boogie board.

He even tried to pull Daddy on the boogie board.

At El Yunque National Forest on the main island.

A picture of Tate and Mommy at the smaller of the two forts in San Juan.

After a tired day of running around the forts in San Juan.

The cemetery in San Juan.

Where Ponce de Leon is buried.

Where we stayed.  And yes, it was an old convent.

Another exhausting day for both boys in San Juan.

Flying kites outside the larger of the two forts, El Morro.

The Princess Walk in San Juan.

A garita in San Juan.

There were cannonballs and cannons galore!  A little boy's paradise!

Smallest house in San Juan.

Our trip to Puerto Rico was fantastic!  Now, it's time to plan more adventures!
