The townhouse is really nice. It has three bedrooms, two full baths, and two half baths. That being said...we've decided to put our cats' litter box on the first floor. That means that the cats will have to constantly travel up and down the stairs from either the second or third floor to use it. We're hoping that by doing this it'll give our cats the work-out that they desperately need (Ed tries to play with them for about 15 minutes a day and by the end of the play period both cats are usually out of breath and ready to sleep, again).
I guess the only problem with having so many stairs is that once the baby starts crawling we'll have to put up tons of gates at the top of the stairs so that the little one doesn't take a tumble down the stairs. Hopefully the baby will take on my personality and behave; unlike Ed's -- haha! It's my understanding that when he was little, Ed was a great escape artist. Fortunately, we have a couple of months before we have to plan our strategy.
