Forts, Planes, and Tanks

Today was my first ultra-sound appointment. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it went smoothly. According to the doctor, I'm about 18 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Also, the baby looks healthy (or "awesome" as the doctor puts it). I've also begun to understand that I will never, ever be able to avoid touring forts, planes, and tanks because Ed and I are having a boy. My destiny will forever be to have vacations involving some sort of military stop. Below are some pictures from the ultra-sound...

I want a boy! I won't hold my breath. I don't see it happening. Matt will have to get used to trips involving shopping and estrogen fueled cat fights. I'm already trying to pin down a name for our next girl and last child that will, most likely, enter the world in two years or more.

Congrats! Great ultrasound pics!

Congratulations! Boys are such fun! I have a little boy Jackson who is just on 14 months with the attitude of a 15 year old. Angie just gave me your details so I'm hoping we can meet up when Brad and I arrive in Boston. I will e-mail you soon. Once again a big congratulations - I read back on how you gave your parents the news - adorable! Christal Harris

And, I'm thinking that Ed would have dragged a girl to all of those places, too.

Thank you to everyone that posted. Ed is very excited to be having a boy:-)

And yes, I do believe that Ed would've tried to bring a girl to all of the "manly" places as well -- haha!

Christal, I look forward to hearing from you. I hope that you have a safe trip to the states!

ps -- Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I was sick almost the entire week last week -- YUCK!

Congratulations, I thought the shape of the baby's head looked very familiar. Marie and I are very happy for you both.
