Tate Reading to Colt

Whenever we travel, we always take tents for the boys to sleep in. They seem to sleep very well, but as they get older, they seem to interact more once they are in their respective tents. In the video below, Tate is "reading" a book to Colt called, "No David!". Both boys think that the book is hilarious! Of course, Tate really isn't reading the book. He has it memorized.

Here's a short story about the boys --

Usually, we have to secure Tate in his tent and, in the past, we could put Colt into his tent without having to do anything other than zip it up. During our second day in Vieques, we put the boys down for naps. After about an hour, the boys ran into our room. At first, we didn't know how they got out of their tents. Ed asked Tate how he was able to escape. Tate said, "Colt got out of his tent and then got me out". Of course, we were a bit skeptical, but we decided to to see what would happen during the night. Once we put the boys down that night, we listened to the boys. Tate kept saying, "Get me out, Colt". So...Colt unzipped his tent and said, "Out Ba (Colt's word for brother). Out Ba". Tate kept saying, "Get me out, Colt" (or Coltie -- that's another way Tate says Colt's name). Then Colt walked over, opened Tate's tent, and let him out. Of course, once we saw that, we had to get the boys. Once we put them back into their tents, Colt said, "Sorry Ba. Sorry Ba".
