Not only did we go to the Museum of Science, we also headed to a local baby place to research strollers. I never realized how difficult it is going to be to find all of the baby items that I need. Why can’t there be a place that directs you to the item that will suit all of your needs? I figure that these next few months will be long. Good thing I quit my job on Monday, March 17th. Now, I have plenty of time to research the various items that we’ll need. My first thought is to buy a car seat because we’ll have to get the baby home from the hospital, right? Other than that, I guess I should have some diapers? And the rest can come later. There’s nothing like being an unprepared, first-time mother.

Around Boston...
Okay…So, I know that I’ve been MIA for the past couple of weeks (thanks, Patty for reminding me), but I hope that my many posts within the next few days will make up for my negligence.
On, Sunday, March 16th, Ed and I decided to visit the Museum of Science for the first time. Because Ed is in the military, the museum waived his entrance fee. We had a great time and watched a movie on their IMAX screen, which was amazing. The screen takes up the entire movie theater because it’s in a shape of a
dome. I really enjoyed watching the movie, Mummies, on it. The Museum of Science was tons of fun too. I do, however, think the museum would be a lot more fun with kids. They have tons of learning games that parents can play with their kids. They also had a special exhibit -- butterflies of the world. It was definitely worth the $4.00 each that we had to pay. The butterflies were beautiful and I really enjoyed watching them fly around and munch on the various fruits that they had for them.

A diaper or two would be helpful! They don't stop you before leaving the hospital here with the car seat. I showed a friend how to adjust hers a few weeks after her son was born. Yikes!
Well, I think you need to have a baby shower! I think that will help tremendously!! I'm sure you will have everything you need and then some by the time the baby comes!! Take care and can't wait to read what you post next!!
