Good thing we don’t live in Alaska anymore!!!
During the weekend, we went to the U.S. Botanical Gardens. It was really nice. They keep it at a consistent 75 degrees – warm! We took our time and tried to introduce Tate to many plants, mainly flowers so that he could be a little more interactive. I didn’t really realize how interactive Tate wanted to be until he decided to tear a leaf off of one of the plants. Oh, and did I happen to mention that many of the plants in the gardens are endangered? So, I quickly removed the leaf from Tate’s hand and placed it on the soil so that it could complete the cycle of life and replenish the soil.
Once we finished our adventure at the gardens, we went to the waterfront to pick up some blue crabs. Yummy! Even Tate thought that they were interesting.
On another note: Tate isn’t quite crawling yet. He’s satisfied with what I like to call plank-crawling. You can see for yourself how he likes to crawl. He’s pretty quick. We need to purchase a gate sometime soon. No need to have a baby “rolling” down the stairs, right Angie? (J/K)

I just love his expressions. You capture them well.
Oh, he'll be crawling so soon. He's getting the hang of it!
I love the top two pictures.
And, yeah get the gates, don't be like me!
