It took us five hours to make it there, but we made it! At first I contemplated not going because the weather was horrible and we kept having tire trouble on both cars! Fortunately, Ed was able to get the tire on the the smaller Volvo to hold air and we were off. On the ride up there I took sandwiches and was able to keep Tate happy with food and toys.
During one of our stops (for me to go to the bathroom, of course), I had to change Tate and gave him a wipee, which made Tate extremely happy (it always does).
The wedding didn't take place until late afternoon. So, we had plenty of time to check in to our hotel and get ready for the wedding.
Here's Tate and Ed posing outside the wedding venue.

Tate behaved pretty well during the wedding even though he decided to create a little bit of chaos before and after the wedding. He loves exploring everything.

The day after the wedding, we took a little detour to West Point where Ed relived the good ole days. Unfortunately, the day was crappy as well. So we weren't able to look around as much as we wanted. We were able to get a couple of good pictures around West Point.
Tate loves looking at animals.
On a side note: While we were at the wedding Tate picked up some new dance moves from two little girls. Here he is demonstrating his new moves at home.
