New Experiences

Last Saturday, Ed took Tate for the morning to give me a little (and much needed) break. To my surprise (please note the sarcasm), they went to the Fairfax Museum where they could gaze and admire cannons.

Of course, Tate had other ideas. He preferred to play in the leaves instead.

I'm sure that Ed is now questioning whether Tate is really his or not because of Tate's lack of interest in cannons during their day out.

On Sunday, we decided to go to Great Falls National Park. We brought a lunch and had a nice lunch together near the water.

Then we took a very short hike (more like a stroll) to the falls.

Tate loved them. He talked almost non-stop and pointed constantly at the falls and the kayakers.

Later in the evening, Ed decided to entertain Tate by carving a pumpkin.

I'll leave you guys with a short video of Tate lecturing us about the falls.

I love it when daddy's give us mom's a break. My DH is still convinced it's not that hard. So, when I get to sleep in or get a "break" I soak up every second!

Love the video. Cutie!
